12 years ago I came across an article in a Weston A. Price magazine. A homeopath by the name of Joette Calabrese, wrote the following, “We (mothers/caregivers) are the healers of our families. No one knows their children better than their mothers and it is our responsibly to heal them.” This was my catalyst.

I had not yet started a family but knew that I wanted to be able to take care of them myself, without the use of medical intervention, whenever possible. I did not want to have to run to the ER or the family doctor for any minor ailment that came my way. So I dove right into homeopathy and never looked back.

After taking many courses learning about how to treat acute as well as chronic illness’ I decided that I wanted to become a professional homeopath. I studied at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) in Toronto and then later went on to graduate from the Academy of Practical Homeopathy (APH) in 2022. There I trained under my mentor and master homeopath Joette Calabrese (remember her from paragraph one? Ironic hey?)

I am continually taking classes and courses offered by homeopaths and physicians trained in homeopathy. I want to glean all I can from those who have gone before me and are skilled in other areas I can benefit from, and in turn, can benefit my clients.

So what gets me up in the morning, drives me to read, learn and continue to take post graduate courses? Simply put- I want to help people. I want to ease the suffering of humanity through a medicine that is gentle yet powerful. It is my labor of love every day. Few things are more satisfying in my life (Faith and family aside) than finding the correct remedy for a client and hearing them say, “It worked, my child is better, thank you.” This is why I do what I do and I could not imagine ever wanting to retire from a profession that is so rewarding.

You were not put on this earth to suffer forevermore, you have a purpose. So however you or your loved one may be suffering, let me help you feel better with gentle, yet effective medicine.
